Welcome to Thespian Club!
Thespian Club is a club at Santa Susana that is a part of the International Thespian Society. It's a place for those who are passionate about anything that has to do with theatre. This includes acting, tech, orchestra, and many more. There is a place for everyone here! While in Thespian Club, you will learn teamwork skills, improve your improvisation, and widen your love of theatre.
Since Thespian Club is part of an International Society, our members have the chance to receive special recognition and awards for their achievements in this club. In order to do this, you need to accumulate points. Points are granted for participation in any theatre-related event, such as acting, writing, tech crew, etc (see "Suggestions/Documents" page for point sheet). To become an inducted Thespian, you need to earn at least 10 points throughout the school year. You will receive a certificate and a few goodies at our annual Thespian Banquet, held at the end of the year. Once you earn 10, you are on your way to taking on a national honor within this society. All it takes is commitment, passion, and fun! With enough points, you may even receive special awards by the end of high school. Just always try your best, and become as involved as possible!
