A little bit about our Troupe Director, Artur Cybulski:
Artur Cybulski currently serves as the Theatre Director at Santa Susana Performing Arts High School. After receiving his Bachelor of Arts at the University of California Irvine, Artur spent the next decade making his living as an actor, coach, and producer. He also spent many years teaching theatre workshops for youth in Los Angeles and at conferences around the country.
An award winning actor, Artur has appeared in numerous feature films including “The Hunt for Red October”, as well as many guest appearances on a wide variety of television programs. Performing in over sixty plays, Artur also served as Managing Director / Producer at Theatre Geo, as Artistic Director of Theatre 40 in Beverly Hills, and as Managing Director of The Coast Playhouse in Hollywood. Artur is also proud of his association with many professional theatre education organizations including serving for a time on the Board of Directors for California Educational Theatre Association.
In 1995 Artur along with his partner David Krassner began working on an innovative and exciting new program Camp Bravo, a summer camp for the performing arts. Unlike most “performance” based youth programs, they adopted the philosophy that students with an interest in the arts could receive first class training in a completely non-competitive ensemble based environment. And so Camp Bravo was born and continues to flourish, impacting the lives of hundreds of young artists each year. Of all his accomplishments, Artur is most proud however of his two children. Now entering adulthood they fill his everyday life with pride and joy.

Thespian Board Positions
President:
The president's job is to manage the board, and make sure all deadlines are being met. The president is also in charge of setting deadlines and making sure that all board members are doing their job in an appropriate manner.
Vice President:
The vice president's job is to assist the president, and to organize all things relating to thespian festival, thespian banquet, and thespian picnic. The vice president may also have to head up committees and oversee members' jobs if their jobs are not getting done.
Treasurer:
The treasurer's job is to keep track of the thespian bank account and is also in charge of picking up expenditures that need to be passed by the board and/or the club.
Secretary:
The secretary's position is in charge of keeping record of what happens in all meetings, both board meetings and club meetings. They are also in charge of collecting points at the end of the year.
Fundraising:
Fundraising will be in charge of planning and organizing fundraisers for the theatre department. These fundraisers help to fund the shows for Santa Susana and the rooming for Thespian Festival.
Historian:
The historian position is split into two parts. The historians' jobs is the create the cast boards for all theatre department shows, create the playbills for the theatre department shows, and to document all thespian events to include in the slideshow for the end of the year at the Thespian Banquet.
Publicity Manager:
Public Relations is in charge of all social media accounts for the Santa Susana Thespian Troupe. This means regular posting about upcoming events, deadlines, and behind the scenes action relating to upcoming shows.
Advertising Director:
The Advertising Director is in charge of posters for the shows at Santa Susana, in addition to help promote the shows.
Outreach Coordinator:
Outreach's job is to reach out to the community. They will have to call various establishments around the community, to increase publicity for Santa Susana's performances.
Merchandise Coordinator:
The Merchandise Coordinator is responsible for creating awesome Thespian Merchandise for the club to purchase as well as handling show t-shirts.
Activities Director:
Activities is in charge of all Thespian Activities that occur within a meeting. They also decide on the musical or play that the club will see that semester.
Master of the House:
The Masters of the house are in charge of keeping the black box as well organized they can manage. They are aware of everything that can be found, prop wise, within its own little backstage.
